Another beautiful morning in Hyde Park photographing friends followed by coffee in East Perth. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Erik was my first ever baby shoot, he’s a year older now and just starting to walk. This time his father Marcus was was back from work so we could get some wonderful family shots. It was also the first time i have had the pleasure of shooting in overcast conditions! Fantastic light makes for some great outdoor photography! Please click on the photo to go to the gallery.
This photo shoot was lots of fun to do. Erik has such a wide eyed curious view on the world. He was so patient and easy to photograph and not being phased at all by the strange and uncomfortable poses the we had him in. This was the first shoot i did with the clear acrylic sheet used as a reflection. Erik was fascinated with the reflection he saw and i got a few great shots of him ‘flying’.
I also had the chance to try out a few new Lightroom presets with this shoot, notably the copper toned preset which i ended up with after a few hours of trying to accomplish ‘copper’ and not ‘jaundice’. I am really happy with the results.
I’m looking forward to catching up with Godje and Erik once again now that they are all back from a holiday in Germany. It will be great to see how he has grown.
